About Me
I am a registered Clinical Psychologist based in our East London branch. I have extensive experience working for the NHS, local authorities and the charity sector in services for people suffering psychological distress. I have specialised in delivering evidence based therapy to adults and adolescents experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship problems and to those with a history of trauma. I also work with children who may be having difficulties with friendships, emotions or behaviour, or life events such as parental separation, bereavement and loss.
Adopting an integrative approach to therapy, I draw on Systemic theory, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Psychodynamic approaches to tailor each intervention to the needs of the individual. I offer a safe and trusted space to explore difficulties that have resulted in individuals feeling stuck or disconnected from others; caught up in unhelpful behaviours or patterns; and often alone and frightened. I take a flexible and creative stance to practice and will work at a pace that feels right for the individual.
