Clinical Psychologist BSc (Hons), PGC, DClin
About Me
I am a Clinical Psychologist based in our South London branch. I have worked in psychological services for 12 years in the NHS and in local authorities, offering support to adults, children and families, alongside my private practice. I am trained to doctoral level to deliver evidence based therapy from a wide range of therapeutic models. As a psychologist I am particularly interested in tailoring therapy to the individual, and I can select ideas from different therapies to provide a bespoke approach.
My experience is wide ranging and I am specialised in working with mental health difficulties, relationship issues and supporting those with physical health problems. People come to therapy for many different reasons including psychological, emotional, personal and relational problems. Some people also come to therapy without any specific issues and may be more interested in exploring ideas such as identity, childhood and hopes for the future.
I am passionate about working collaboratively, that is, working together to explore and understand the reasons why an individual has come to therapy. I find that working in this way provides the firm grounding in the therapeutic relationship, and allows us to start thinking about change and growth.
